How To Wear Eye Makeup With A Face Mask, The Next Big Beauty Trend

صورة
“We will soon have to smile only with our eyes, and this is why eye makeup will become more important than ever.” With protective face masks here to stay until a COVID-19 vaccine is developed, it’s safe to say that the way we wear makeup will change. This means gravitating away from statement lips and contoured cheekbones and shifting toward creative eye and brow makeup looks. Mask-friendly eye makeup looks have already seen an uptick in popularity on social media ― “eye” searches during April on the popular makeup subreddit r/makeupaddiction were up 36% from March. And makeup-obsessed redditors like Chloe Richmond have shared their own personal looks on the channel, signifying a clear trend on the rise. Source:HuppPost

S.E. Cupp slams the president for “picking on the dead and harassing their surviving family members.” Conservative commentator and CNN host S.E. Cupp didn’t hold back on President Donald Trump in a new column, calling him out for attacking people who can’t defend themselves. Specifically, Cupp targeted his consistent pattern of “picking on the dead and harassing their surviving family members,” as she wrote in an op-ed in the New York Daily News.  Trump in recent days has been tweeting a baseless conspiracy theory that implies MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough might have killed a congressional staffer in 2001, Lori Klausutis. Klausutis worked in one of Scarborough’s Florida district offices when he was a Republican member of Congress. She was found dead in the office one morning, and authorities later determined that she had fainted due to an undiagnosed heart condition and fatally struck her head on a table. Klausutis’s widowed husband, Timothy Klausutis, has asked Trump to stop s...

Senate GOP Has No Plan To Help Millions Of Americans Losing Health Insurance During Pandemic

An estimated 16.2 million people have lost health insurance once provided by  their employer during the pandemic. As millions of Americans slip into unemployment and lose their health insurance during a public health crisis, Senate Republicans still see no need to act on health care. More than 36 million people have filed for unemployment benefits due to the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, meaning millions will be left without health insurance. In mid May, left-leaning think tank Economic Policy Institute estimated 16.2 million people have lost health insurance once provided by their employer — how roughly half of Americans get their health insurance. That number could be as high as 26.8 million if those who lost their jobs don’t sign up for other coverage, the Kaiser Family Foundation found. But the Republican majority in the Senate isn’t interested in pursuing additional emergency relief for those who suddenly find themselves uninsured. “I’d like us to put in pl...

When asked about Twitter’s fact-checking of President Trump, Zuckerberg  said Facebook shouldn’t be “the arbiter of truth.” Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said his company’s policies differ from those of Twitter when it comes to fact-checking users. For the first time, Twitter tagged two of President Donald Trump’s tweets on Tuesday with a fact-checking note indicating that his statements were misleading. Angered over the notes, Trump later accused Twitter of attempting to influence the upcoming 2020 presidential election. During an interview with Fox News’ Dana Perino, Zuckerberg said he disagreed with Twitter’s policy and said he didn’t believe his own company, Facebook, should be “the arbiter of truth.” “We have a different policy than Twitter on this,” Zuckerberg told Perino when asked about Twitter’s decision to fact-check Trump. “I just believe strongly that Facebook shouldn’t be the arbiter of truth of everything that people say online,” he said. “I think in general, private c...
